Games I've Worked On
I acted as a designer, writer, and/or programmer for each of these games, either in a team or as a solo project.
ParaducksParaducks is a first-person puzzle game where the player must solve puzzles by creating and managing time loops without causing paradoxes. Oh yeah, and the player takes the role of two ducks controlling a mech-suit.
Paraducks is the largest-scale project I have yet to undertake. I acted as producer for a team of twelve designers, programmers, and artists working on developing the game to completion in approximately nine months. |

Captains, Cooks, and QuartermastersCaptains, Cooks, and Quartermasters is a tabletop RPG designed to create the danger, betrayal, and shifting loyalties often found in the pirate tale genre. It features an innovative conflict resolution system that is tailored for player-versus-player conflicts and weaves deception and bluffing into the very mechanics of the game.

Dossier
|
Dossier is a social deception game designed to be played with nothing but a small number of common supplies and a copy of the one-page rules document. The game was created with the randomly-selected prompt “snake” in mind and was meant to capture the social connotations rather than literal meaning of the word by centering gameplay around deception and betrayal. Dossier was designed in collaboration with several other classmates.

RhinoceromanceRhinoceromance is a dating sim about the last male northern white rhino trying to find love. It features branching narrative and different endings depending on the player's ability to cater their growth towards the desires of their date. I contributed design, programming, and writing to this project. Unfortunately, the team disbanded before the game was completed, and so there is only one romanceable option for the player to woo.

DC Deck-Building Game Custom CardsI have designed a few custom card sets for Cryptozoic's DC Comics Deck-Building Game and published them as Steam Workshop mods for Tabletop Simulator. I took great care balancing the cards with regards to official cards, as well as the Cube variant rule set. I also paid thorough attention to ensuring that cards follow the same syntax and visual presentation standards of official cards.
